Þursakyngi II: Loki — Revised & Expanded Edition

Status: Completed, ready for release

Release: TBD

Tradition: Thursatru / 128 Current

Overview:

Originally published in 2016, Þursakyngi II: Loki now returns in a thoroughly revised and expanded form. Far more than a reprint, this edition marks a significant evolution in both content and spirit, forged through continued blót, revelations, and years of lived practice within the Thursian Cult of Loki. With outdated material carefully removed and newly revealed workings added, this book now reflects the current spiritual state of Loki Work within the Thursatru Tradition.

A major highlight of this edition is the addition of a comprehensive new chapter titled “Mythological Loki: A Study of the Sources”. This critical text explores the true origins of Loki as a þurs in early skaldic and Eddic poetry, challenging later Christian and romanticized distortions, particularly those introduced by Snorri Sturluson. It provides a deeply sourced, mythographically aware argument for Loki’s giant aspects, in alignment with the Thursatru Tradition’s view of Him as a primordial Thurs and Twin to Gullveig.

This book remains a cornerstone for the Lokakyn, the Thursian kin who walk under His gaze, offering a foundation for devotional practice and initiation into the Thursian mysteries of Loki of Útgarðr.

Focuses include:

·      The Thursian essence of Loki as Firstborn Son of Aurgelmir and Spirit of the 128 Current

·      New: “Mythological Loki”, a critical examination of Loki’s true origin in Old Norse sources

·      Updated invocations and blót refined through years of active Thursian practice

·      Devotional guidance for maintaining weekly blót and offerings

·      New prayers and invocations for deeper communion with the Thursian Loki

·      Þursablót practices for honoring Loki in His Utgardian form

·      Spiritual role of Loki in Ragnarök and the anti-æsiric destiny

·      Expanded sorcerous workings and offerings unique to the Lokian current

·      Reaffirmation of Loki’s role as a liberator and destroyer within the Thursian path

Note: A full account of the revised contents will be revealed closer to the book’s release.

The text serves not as an academic treatment of the Elder Futhark, but as a channel for the Þursamegin of the Serpentine Runerow, an esoteric system revealed through Þursablót praxis and spiritual communion.

Focuses include:

·      The Serpentine Runerow: a Ginnic rune system revealed through Thursian revelation
